When I was a dancer in the early 80s, I as well as my colleagues used to regularly have our genital areas waxed as par for the course. It was a well known and expected routine. My mother, also a dancer, was familiar with it too and she was dancing well before me.

You will find that in many countries, particularly in performing circles, this Brazilian waxing ritual was well known. It just wasn’t called the Brazilian. Just because it’s now publicly known and embraced, doesn’t mean it never existed prior to the J Sisters.

That said, I do love your blog and I read it regularly. Well done for your fabulous effort.
